Backup Problems

The SnapBack Client status screen displays "Waiting x seconds for no disk activity", but never starts the

backup.

The server hard disk must be completely idle before the backup can begin. By default SnapBack waits for 15 seconds

of inactivity. Many programs running on the file server access the hard disk on a regular basis such as

defragmentation software or antivirus software. You can reduce the amount of time that SnapBack waits for no disk

activity by using the Console program. A wait time of less than five seconds may cause an invalid backup.
