Tape Information Screen

SnapBack records a header record at the beginning of each backup tape. Clicking the TAPE icon will display the

device images recorded on the tape as well as the date and time the tape was recorded.

If more then one tape drive is attached to the server, a selection menu (above) is presented. Select the tape device

containing the tape you wish to examine.

The TAPE INFO provides the following:

• Serial Number: The serial number of the backup tape.

• Backed Up On: The date the backup was created.

• Tape Number: The number of this tape in the backup set.

• Devices Backed Up: The hard drives that were backup up on this tape.

• Devices Connected At Time Of Backup: All the hard drives that were attached to your server during the last

backup operation.
