When to Use SCSI

Use SCSISelect if you need to

Change any of the default values
■
Check or change SCSI device settings that may conflict with
those of other devices (e.g., SCSI ID)
■
Perform low-level formatting on new SCSI disk devices
Starting SCSI
Select
To start SCSISelect, press Ctrl+A when the BIOS banner appears dur-
ing bootup, as shown in Figure 3-1.
The BIOS banner lists the model number and SCSI ID of each SCSI
device connected to the host adapter.
